Hey Foggers,

As we are getting closer to the ordering process for the Fogtainers, after talking with different vendors, I ask the first question:

If I could get permission to produce shirts with the FOG logo on them - silkscreened - would there be an interest?

Second question:

Would there be any other interest in FogWear or FogWare?

This is just a test to see if there is interest.

Thoughts and comments are encouraged.

Peter

Peter, I'd love to see some Tee shirts with the FOG logo.
Same here, but please, offer them in light color!  Dark color gets so hot in sunny days!

Brice,

You always wear grey.  I would assume that I would have better success with dark blue in my request for permission.  Would that be a problem?

Would you want that with your logo on it or other specializing marketing slogans?

Yep - would love a couple FOG t-shirts. Just don't make the shirt into a billboard!! Too many shirts have oversized writing or images.

I agree, simple is better.

Peter, I'm with Mastercabman on this one, a light color is the way to go. I'm thinking a white shirt with just the FOG logo just as it is here on the site.

Please elaborate more on this in the Fogtainer thread!! ... my trigger fingers (e.g. the credit card number fingers) are getting very itchy and my shop is-a-needing some more Systainers ASAP.
In your best guess, are we looking at a month, 2 months? 6 months?

I would be in for a few t-shirts.  I'm fundamentally against white for working in, since it instantly shows dirt, dust, paint, glue, blood, and what-not.

Systainer gray would be ideal.  ;-)   I'd also be like the Festool dark blue.  In fact, gray or blue (or both!) with the lime green on the collar and/or sleeves would be fun.  We'd look like tools or systainers.  Ha!

T shirts are always a winner & i would definitely take 2 or 3.  Would like Dark blue but i am easy.  Happy to go with the majority.  Please make the shirts a decent quality though.  Would rather pay a little bit more & have something that will last through many washes.

Cheers, Woodguy.

How about a FOG apron........... don't know if you have the same name in the US

Back from 2 week vacation, unfortunately did not make it to a Festool dealer. I would also go for a few shirts. I wouldn't be too thrilled with the white shirts though. Me and white shirts don't do so well, especially when there's chocolate around. In my life, there's always chocolate around.  [tongue] Gray, black, blue, green, whatever is fine.
The apron idea also sounds good. I have the Festool apron but could use another one.

Put me in for two or three shirts as well.  White shirts are a must, it's too hot down here in the south and darker shirts are just absorb too much sunlight.  Would settle for systainer grey.

I'm a visor wearer as well (hats and visors make great pencil holders for me since my ears can't contain them)...Hats or visors would be great too!

Same goes with FOGtainers.  I've been itching to buy some systainers lately.  Sys 3 with attic, sys 4  and a 5...

White shirts are out for me too. Darker colours are preferable. Here in the UK we need to absorb as much heat as possible....

So it sounds like a choice of gray and dark blue would be a good idea then. I can live with that, I'd buy at least one of each.

Same here!    light gray and dark blue would be just fine. For summer, light gray. For winter, dark blue! 8)

I much  prefer polo's over tees, and they usually last a lot longer as well. Small FOG logo, embroidered if possible would be neat. Dark blue or grey would both be welcome, though somehow systainer gray doesn't strike me as a particularly desireable color. Caps are always a winner and suspenders may add a nice touch.
And ofcourse a nice FOG-branded dark blue anodized titanium Rolex, with a rim of limegreen emeralds to add a bit of decent bling to Brice's new status  [big grin]

Regards,

Job

I think that's the right word for the US, but here in the UK it's something completely different [blink] [big grin]
