Been looking to order a OF1400 Router for a few weeks and everywhere I go it's out of stock with no relief until earliest mid-March...some stores are saying April/Jun/July.  However, I found a store with quite a few... Blaine's Farm and Fleet in the Central/North US (Iowa, Illinois Wisconsin, Michigan).  They had 6 5 of them avail for mail order [big grin] and over 40 of them corporation-wide.

They estimate delivery to the mid-Atlantic area by Friday.  Customer service via phone is terrific and the site is easy to navigate.

If you're looking I hope this helps....I'm not advertising but I am sourcing for those looking...and no, I'm not a content provider/influencer on youtube making a dollar from this post... ROFL

Cheers
Dan

I got excited when I saw they had 2 Kapex in stock, but it turns out to be the prior model.

I bought a Dewalt 735X planer from them at the end of last year and no issues and fast shipping.

Ya I just back from the local Woodcraft store yesterday and they are completely out of Festool routers and Domino's. Such is the current state of affairs.  [sad]

I ordered an OF1400 in Finland, and both reseller and distributor were out of stock. Yesterday, they confirmed that the Finnish distributor expects restock in 2nd half of May. Reason presented was that Festool factory is waiting for parts manufactured in China, which experienced delays due to Covid-19.

Not sure if this is the full story, but that's what I got at least.

Just FYI

This shortage is super annoying, I have some cabinet projects that I'd like to do with LR32, but I only have a makita trim router so I don't want the 1010, because I want to also be able to use 1/2" bits...

[member=76497]jacklewis[/member] You may want to check, I'm not an expert but don't think a 1/2" collet is available for the 1010.
