New to the forum but have been lurking for awhile. I use festool for custom customer projects and when I first bought the track saw and domino I didn't think I would need anything else. I said oh ill never buy a drill I have drills. I don't need a router I have routers. Well after placing another order today...3rd one in a week. Ive added the new CXS, OF 1400 and Carvex D handle...I know green koolaid. Id stop drinking it if it didn't taste so good.

Welcome to the FOG and glad to hear that you are into the ZONE.  Once you get your router and play around with it  and maybe order the guide rail adaptor for it I predict that you will open your eyes a little wider and then smile.

So many things will sneak up and once you have the tools and some of the accessories  then you'll understand better.

Yeah I bought the LR32 95" rail. Bummed the OF1400 doesn't have an accessory kit so I made my own..Bought some Kaizen foam and a sys 3 and put all the 1400 accessories in it. I use my track saw almost daily. I work at Woodcraft here in the states part time and I give demos to customers a lot so I get to play a bunch.

Yes it does ... the OF1400 accessory kit also includes a very useful OF2200 [wink] [big grin]
