That would be cool, for sure. I've not seen anything from Festool USA on how they will be rolling those out. Dunno if dealers will have an opportunity to snag them or not.

And for the rest of you all... If you have tools that you no longer use or need, and you aren't really in the mood or have the time to list and sell them, this organization needs tools and equipment to build homes for needy post-911 vets. They also look for volunteers to help build in your area when needed.

So Shane, mid month for hopefully a Father's Day present for some lucky guy recipient.  Sounds great!!

What if that random name selected happens to be a woman?  Does she give the Syslite to her man or keep it for herself?  Or just some single dude gets selected.

My wife would keep it, she uses my Syslite to brighten up the closet to ensure she can identify her dark blue dress slacks from her black slacks.......

Which brings me to my next point, when will we be seeing the KAL-2?  I've been holding out buying a new Syslite hoping the upgraded version was going to be released soon, like, today.

Gary, ha, I certainly didn't mean to insinuate that it had to be a Father's Day gift. It would just be a timely gift to give for that occasion. Of course, the winner can choose to use it or give it as they see fit.

No word yet from Festool USA about the KAL 2. I guess we'll just have to wait until they make an announcement regarding its possible availability at some point.
