De-installed a sculpture that had been on view in a sunlit area in a museum for nearly two years. When some elements of the sculpture were removed for packing it was clear that the finish had faded and yellowed. You can even see “shadows” trailing away on the shadow side.
Two coats of Osmo PolyX Hard Wax Oil was applied to rift sawn white oak sanded to 180 grit.
