Gary Katz Roadshow events in VA and PA

I enjoyed the show here in Pittsburgh, a good time was had by all for sure. The show was presented by Mike Sloggett and Frank Caputo. They covered the correct way to install windows and weather resistant barriers, how to get squeak-free floors with engineered I beam joists. In the afternoon they went into a new way of laying out stair stringers and talked about the using the right joist hangers for ACQ lumber. They and finished up with a presentation with a TimberTeck decking, skirt and handrail install. Great info on how to use the Construction Master calculator. Reps from Stabila, Azek, Anderson, Windsor One, TimberTeck, and of course Jordan Haire from Festool. I believe there was a 10% discount on most of the products by the show's sponsors.

The show is taking a break until June then Mike/Frank and Gary pick up again in NH and NY. I know this is sounding like a broken record but get your butt out to one these events if they come near your town. They are a lot of fun and I'm sure you'll learn something.
