Recently something nice was done for me by Steve Adams of Qwas Dogs.  To pass along the generosity I would like to do something nice for someone I don't know as he doesn't know me.  I am facing a bit of a hard time recently and money is not available and Qwas Dogs did something very kind for me.  It's not often these things happen these days so I would like to express my thanks to Qwas, especially Steve and Pay-It-Forward.  I have 2 sets of Parf Dogs to give away, 2 tall and 2 short.  Unfortunately knobs will not be provided however this will help you get started.

Please send me a PM explaining some details of your situation and your need or want of these Parf Dogs.  If it isn't too expensive I may be able to cover some or all of the shipping.  As I said, tough times at the moment.  I will do my best.  Sorry this isn't a full service package as I would like it to be but for the time being this is all I can do.

I personally want to give a huge "THANK YOU" to the guys at QwasProducts dot com!  Hopefully the rest of you out their will support the little guys too.  Just like when video stores use to be around... remember them... lol... I would always go to the local Mum & Pop video store over a BlockBuster anyday if the option was present.  Support Qwas Dogs and their amazing products.  The more we support their efforts, the more money Qwas has available for R&D and making our woodworking dreams happen.  Maybe we can help bring their dreams come true too...

Lastly, this is not an advertising stunt for QwasProducts.  This is a "Genuine" thing that happened to me today and in talking with Steve Adams I had the idea of paying it forward because he did something kind for me, for my family, mostly me:) but my work sometimes pays the bills;P  This is the result of a small company doing something kind for a stranger.  Please PAY-IT-FORWARD whenever you can.

Sincerely,

NoahsArk (Noah Cross)

Thanks for listening [big grin]

I have had 1 reply... seems like Festool owners are experiencing no shortage of cash... do we have any semi-broke people who need bench dogs???  Lol.  Oh Boy!  Can't even give these Parf Dogs away!  Lol.

In my defense, although I do need the dogs, I'm not that broke. [blink]

I will give it some more time as I really want to help a woodworker out who needs it.  There's you and another fellow I will keep in mind... the only 2 replies.  If it comes down to you guys then I will just need bank statements and social security numbers and we are good to go... lol.

I could promise my first male born, but I would not do that to a fellow woodworker.  [scared]

i think there would have been more interest had the requirement not been something along the lines of:  discuss one's hard luck situation in a public forum with a stranger who can then sit and judge who's the worthiest of a charity giveaway.  when i first read this post i was all for giving you the benefit of the doubt:  hey good for him, i'm glad he's thinking of others.  now that it's come up again, my natural skepticism is creeping in:  what, he's complaining of too few responses?  you got your first caller, send them off and be done with it.  or better yet just keep them for yourself because apparently these things are just like clamps--one can never have enough of them.

Hmmmm... I'm sure he will be a solid young man but I'm going to have to pass.  Thanks for the laugh though;P

How about "Spreading the wealth" not to take anything away from the peter fund, but if this gentleman is having some difficulties as well... Well I'd be glad to buy the parf dogs off u, they're $20 a pack and shipping should be $8 so what u say we call it $50. I know it doesn't go exactly with your idea but to me it really is paying it forward, since I get to help.

He's all better now, but those first 25 years were touch and go.  [dead horse]

[embarassed]

I like the idea.  I do have someone in mind for donation but it is proving to be difficult for one reason or another.  If this other thing doesn't pan out I will consider it.  Forgive my ignorance, I don't know who Peter is just that he has Cancer and a ton of Systainers;P  I already like the guy.  I read a bit about his cancer struggle and it said all his costs associated were paid for by some organization, government I think or maybe it was an insurance company.  So, if his costs are covered what is this goall of $15,000 for?  Please fill in my blanks, spanks!
