Glow in the dark bench: 2015 Festool video entry

Not only is it well done, it is downright fun to watch and creative!  Good luck!

These videos are amazing this year. Great job on the vid it was fun to watch the the bench looked amazing

I have a Delta tilting tablesaw like the one in your video.  I bought it 30 years ago, had a steel frame made, made a hinged pivot for a three horse TE industrial motor, extended the table with a 1 3/4" solid core door and added a Beismeyer fence.  I've cut 4' X 10' -1 1/8" melamine faced chip core sheet on it and still use it almost daily.  It cuts every bit as good as my Powermatic 66.

Would liked to have seen more of the bench.  Bill

Yeah, me too.  When you're telling a story, whatever doesn't carry it, or add to it, is removed.  More than half of the footage isn't used and it's hard to leave it on the floor but that's how it goes.  I'm working on a blog post that will get more into the building of the bench, show some stills and some extended cuts that didn't make it into the first episode.

I think you saw a delta shaper in the background.  I have a Hammer slider but it didn't make the cut  [wink]

terrific video.  you guys are really raising the bar with the production values on these contest videos.  won't be too long before these things will start showing up at film festivals and the like.

Thanks Dawg, that means a lot.  So much effort goes into a few minutes of video and it's great to hear when others can dig it too.

That's true!  There's a lot of heart and effort that goes into these, so the more people that can see and connect with them the better.  Thanks for watching and commenting!

Well done on the bench and the video!  Is that bench for a client or is it chillin near the Axe Factory?

Thanks Bob.  It'll be chillin by the Axe Factory but it'll probably travel around town too.  Pretty much using it to promote the new series and if it gets me work, that's OK too!  Are you the Bob that does work for H&H design?
