Glueing plastic to wood

Hey everyone, for a home-made router table I'm intending to glue a 6mm pvc plate (I think, it's called "complate" ) to a piece of mdf. Does anyone have any advice? I was thinking of using Polymax or something like that? I'd like the thickness increase to be minimal and the bond to be tight, obviously.
