Bought the 500 domino the other day and have to say it's great. Have only been messing around with it the past few days so looking forward to using it on my first project. Only gotten into festool the past few months. First purchase was the ts55, midi extractor and 150 orbital sander and now the domino, think that'll be me for the year as I'm now broke. I work in a joinery in Dublin, mainly make kitchens and wardrobes and don't use my new tools in work. I have a small garage as I use as my workshop on weekends which is great and with the tools I've gotten I'm looking forward to designing and building a few pieces. Would like to have 4/5 pieces nothing major as I don't have the space maybe coffee tables, chairs and benches. So glad I invested in good tools they are well worth the money.
Enjoy reading peoples post on the forum and hearing everyone's story.
Cheers
David

Got mine Friday too and loving it already. I have a basement shop so large projects are tough to get out for me too. My next several jobs are all "shop furniture" so they'll be staying. I've started on a smile path in the past couple months. No sanders yet, but I did start with a Kapex miter saw.

I got some Sipo dominos to do some drawers front through tenons so I'm excited to try that.

I waited until today to order mine (a DF500), two days before the price hike here in the USA. I can hardly wait to try it out.  I bought a TS55 late in 2013, and figured I'd have a bigger Festool fleet by now. I guess life just got in the way (and by "life" I mean a bunch of home remodeling tasks from my wife ...)  [big grin]
