green tool removal button 1400 router

The press button that is pressed to stop rotation on the OF1400 to remove the router bit no longer works on my router. It has done very few hours, is there a DIY fix?
The button to secure the bit still works.

This sounds like the same user error I encountered after a few hours of DIY. The power has to be turned off for the lock to work.

Check that the trigger lock button (on the side of the handle near the power trigger) is released. That should fix it.
