I dont think I ever introduced myself properly on this forum, part of the reason being this section not being at the top of the page... anyhow. I am from Auckland, New Zealand. I have been making furniture part time since 2008 (and still doing it part time)

Bought my first Festool in 2013, think it was the Domino DF700/CT36, and then from there onward I've bought ETS 400, LEX3, HKS55, OF1010, and recently VAC-SYS (yet to setup)

Machinery I have more experience with, bought first table saw and 12 inch planer in 2008. from there onwards I have bought and sold a number of machines, my signature is what I have now and use them on daily basis (only 1-2 hours a day as I have a day time job)

Apart from making furniture I have toured solo on my bicycle in my younger days, I have toured NZ 4 times between 1998 and 2006, in 2009 I toured the Silk road from Beijing to Istanbul via China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Turkey, in 2015 I toured from Ushuaia (fin del Mundo, bottom of America Continent) to San Pedro de Atacama (on the border of Bolivia) zigzagging through the Andes (think I crossed the Argentine/Chile border at least 5 times), and possibly the highest commercial road in America Continent (Abra del Acay, 4972m/16300ft).

here are some photos of my shop and my bicycle tour

Welcome.

One question though: what makes one hump signs in the middle of nowhere?

That image is now gone.  Accidentally I also killed off one other image and can’t retrieve that one.  Sorry.

Sorry Peter. I uploaded the wrong pic from my phone - fat finger.
