I don't really have a MFT but I built a Paulk style workbench with 20mm holes in a 3/4 plywood top and had my wife get me the Grizzly accessory pack for their track saw to get the 2 clamps. It also has a track connector and a couple plastic pieces that I do not use but the clamps seem well worth the kits $25 price. The clamps are solidly made and can clamp up to about 3 inch thick pieces to the workbench top.
I also modified a couple HF quick acting clamps to work with this bench. I took the plastic stationary end off and heated up the metal bar to bend it at right angles and twist it around. I had to get it to a dull red to be able to easily bend it which needed Mapp gas, not propane. The resulting clamps work find and are really cheap (I think I paid about $3 each for the clamps.).
