Well I finally freeing up some time and over the last few months have finally got enough parts together to start my cnc build. Machine will have a cutting area of 30" x 48" and is mounted on a mobile table. First built a frame from 2x2 steel with 1x2 supports and had it powder coated with a black texture. Cut a 1" mdf top, glued on black microdot formica and edged all with 3mm pvc. Main body parts came from a kit built and designed by Brian Oltrogge CNC and extrusions came with kit from Cnc router parts. Also managed to pick up a Fuji 3phase frequency drive from flea bay and a 1.5kw air cooled spindle. (will post pictures later). Will update as I get things done.
