Guidance on pricing used tool

I have one of each of the original MFT tables the Basic 800 and the Full 1080.  I do pretty much most of my stuff in my home hobby shot and these have sat in a storage closet for a couple years now.  I will likely put these on the market but was wondering what a good price would be to start with.  I certainly will not give them away as I can just keep in storage in case I ever need them, but also realize they are the older model so may or may not be able to get typical top dollar Festool garners. The top on the 1080 is new as I replaced it at some point and have not made any cuts. I think the (have to look) that the 800 might have a few cuts on one side.

Have you searched through the Classifieds section with the appropriate keywords yet to see what historic pricing has been on these?

I’ve purchased used 1080’s between $100-$300, but that was years ago.  The $100 table was better than the $300.  The gentleman selling it just wanted it out of his house.

Shipping costs can weigh heavily on items like the MFT. Probably will affect your pricing.

When you do write your ad, be sure to include your location -- at least which state you're in. Might just catch someone a little closer to home that way.  [smile]

Go to Ebay, type in the description, and hit enter. Then look on the left side, down a little, for "Sold Listings". Clicking that will show what they have sold for in the past.
