Howdy,

What is the difference between the 106" and 118" guide rails? Besides the 12" of course.  Seems that they are very close in size and price that it wouldn't make sense to offer both. I want to get one for rip full sheets of plywood/MDF. What ever shall I do?

Thanks Gary,

In reading that thread, it seems that the 118" rail was made for the TS75 and the 106" rail for the TS55. The longer rail allows for full engagement for the larger saw, hence the two similar products. Now it makes sense and also I see I should get the longer of the two.

Yep, ones for the TS 75 and the other for the TS 55. Seemed to me the longer one would be better even for the TS 55. Extra 12" might be useful at some point for some angle cut on a 4x8 sheet.

If the extra money is not an issue, get the 3000.  The tracksaw is also super useful for edge jointing long stock, and so the 3000 will give you the extra capacity you need to do the occasional 9 foot board.  Plus angle cuts on 4x8sheets, as mentioned already.
