Two years ago I had a short unsatisfying business experience with McFeelys and I chalked it up to a underpaid unconcerned sales associate. I spent nearly $ 2000 with this Festool seller. I gave them another try last week, once again they didn' give a damn and tried to gouge me with timely UPS shipping. My advice -  ignore them, they will get properly compensated.

Sorry to hear about your experience.  I've never had anything but good service from them.

I've been a customer of theirs for over 15 19 years.  Have I been disappointed at times when something was backordered - sure.  But they have always delivered what was committed to.  If you just want to shout, then get it out of your system.  If you want resolution, contact them directly.

I've had very good service with them.  Good people from Madison, WI.

Like Peter, I'd suggest you call them directly and talk through the issues.  I believe they will listen and make it right.

I concur, I have had nothing but good service from them and at one time an above & beyond service.

Like many others, I have purchased for several years from McFeelys. Always great service. The only "issues" with purchasing Festool from them is that they don't stock smaller items so have to be shipped from Festool USA or somewhere but they always show their stock status on their website while ordering. Also, they often charge shipping on large items that other Festool dealers don't seem to. For example, I ordered an MFT from McFeelys and it came with a healthy shipping add-on bill and I was not expecting that as I thought all Festool items over $150 or so shipped free. No real complaints here. I believe that McFeelys is now owned by Grainger.

I'd be happy to help if you contact me.

Right now, we're running a $1 S&H special on ANY order and we typically ship any Festool order for $150 or more for free unless it's a truck freight item. I'm not sure what the gouging is all about but those are our current policies.

In any case, I'll be in the office around 8AM CST tomorrow and I'm all ears. Please feel free to call me at the number listed below.

Would that include orders to Hawaii or Alaska?

Unfortunately, that offer is for the lower 48 states only. I should've been more clear in my initial response. As you can imagine, shipping outside of the continental US can become pretty expensive pretty quickly.

As an Alaskan, I would like to correct your statement: "As you can imagine, shipping outside of the continental US can become pretty expensive pretty quickly."  From the last time I checked, Alaska is on the North American continent...I'm sure you meant to say contiguous.  ;)

The term contiguous United States refers to the 48 contiguous U.S. states located on the North American continent south of the border with Canada, plus the District of Columbia.

Yes sir. That was a pretty bone-headed mistake of my own. I'm sure I had contiguous on the lips but continental on the fingertips...

Thanks for the correction, by the way. I probably use the word contiguous in conversation 10-15 times per month as we explain our S&H policies but it's amazing how our brains can fail at times. Of course, I'm rapidly approaching 40 with a teenage daughter  :o so it's amazing I remember my name most days.

I haven't heard from the original poster yet but I'll throw this offer out to anyone on the board. My phone number is in my signature and if something isn't to your liking, give me a call. I can't promise anyone that we'll never make a mistake but I can promise that we'll do all that we can to correct one.

I order from mcfeelys right before the last price increase. I spent $3644.00 with free shipping order on Tuesday got my 265lb  pallet on Friday. The only thing missing was 118" rail that came the next week from festool.

Needles to say i was impressed

Good service experience here too.  Ron was all over trying to make certain I was Ok with the fasteners I purcheased.
