OK, its not much - but I DID use some of my Festools! My brother in law decorates for Halloween, so I figured I would make a nice sign. This is my first attempt at freehand letters with the router, you can see the first "G" was too small, but the second attempt led to some layout lines and not a bad result I think - its not perfect, but hey, its a 'graveyard' sign... I used my 1010 router with a sign bit from Rockler, the Kapex to cut the board to length, Trion to round off the corners. I used the Kreg router table to ease the edges, then decided a Domino was a nice way to attach the sign to the stake - the first try in the stake ended badly, was not holding the Domino well enough - oops! I cut down a 10mm Domino to put the two parts together. The sign and stake were burned with a torch (fun!) and then I painted the inside of the letters with some orange and gold craft paint. Most of all, it was fun to finally use some tools and make something... enjoy.

That's a sweet sign! I would think free handing that well would be very difficult for me.  [scared]
