hanging cabinet doors for painting

Am in the middle of painting kitchen cabinets and am hanging the doors to paint on both sides at once. Did some research on ways to hang the doors and not interfere with the finishing and wasn't finding a good solution. Then I had an idea that has been working pretty good, maybe other folks here may find it useful. The doors have concealed hinges and I wanted to hang the doors from inside that pocket and then it hit me, fish hooks. Went to the local fishing store and cleaned them out of their largest barbless hooks. Once that hook is set into the wood it doesn't slip around, I walk the doors from the spray rack to the drying rack by holding the strings and the hooks stay put. Also since the hook is large but thin and doesn't at all touch the door surface it doesn't interfere with the spraying, and the doors hang vertical without a tilt. Anyway, here's a pic to better explain.

Yes I saw those, neat idea, my concern was painting behind that thick vertical arm and also wondered how closely I could hang adjacent doors to dry or if they would wander on that spinning axis causing wet doors to touch

No problem at all spraying behind the arm. They do not pivot freely, I've hung them to dry within a few inches of each other.

Thats good to know. I think the big advantage to those is turning the door instead of needing to spray from both sides, especially helpful when working in tighter spaces.

It looks like plugs in the screw holes.  Where do you find those?  Is it necessary to plug those holes?

Those aren't plugs, it's how the doors came. These were purchased unfinished cabinets and why they have these inserts to screw into I don't know. I don't think there would be any need to plug a screw hole for painting.

For reference, the hooks I used were gamakatsu 8/0 barbless, I went barbless simply to minimize the chance of poking myself. A few bucks per 6-pack. These work but I wouldn't mind a bit larger but these were the biggest they had for sale.

This is what they look like not installed. They come on the hinge, my mini press drills the 35 mm and 8 mm holes, then you press the hinge in. To remove the hinge, unscrew it, no wear on the door.
