I received a random Job not long ago. Just been making them to day nothin to special.

The spec was I had to use materials I used on a regular basis to make the headphones and that's it no more info ........  So i picked MDF and birch plywood as I use that a lot and I thought they would contrast well and screws as i use them a lot lol and then just made them simples !!!!

they do actually work and sound good.

The client has two other people doing the same thing but one is a steel fabricator and the other makes things out of  wicker.  They have the same spec! I'm kinda interested to see what they have come up with using only things they use in der day to day work.

Your CNC up & running then  ;). Pity you couldn't have gotten some inward tension in the headband.  You getting paid for that ?

No picking up the Cnc on Monday I hope.  Cut it by hand it's not perfect didn't want to spend all day on it.

I have redone the head band Alan with more tension but the glue hadn't gone off yet.  The one in the picture was take one!!!

IMessed up in this first head band

   1. because I didn't curve it enough
   2. It had a lot of spring back because I only did 3layers laminated
The new one I have curved it more and made it up in 4layers so hoping have less spring back

looking good jmb.
is it a competition or just for fun.

just a project a mate is doing.    Getting 3 different head phones made which wouldnt normally be done by people like me with the materials used.

Here is an updated strap I put a curve in this one just to make it a little nicer.

It fits nice and snug on my head now.  Dont feel to bad I would actually use them!  [tongue]

Ish dude Ish.  Detail not so good to be honest mate!  I didnt want to spend a lot of time on it as its just for a project and most likely get thrown away or something.
