Hi there, I have been lurking for a little while, but figured I should introduce myself. I'm Chris from North Hollywood, CA.
Beginning enthusiast woodworker, fell in love with the Festool stuff because of the organization of Systainers, LOL.

Also into cooking, sewing, 3D Modeling / Printing... Just really love making stuff from concept to finished product. Very obsessed with doing everything "the right way," and achieving professional-level results whenever I can.

I currently have:

PDC 18/4
TID 18
OF 1400
TS 55
CT 48 E
ETSC 125

Would love to virtually (or IRL) meet cool people in a similar place as me... wanting to make stuff, in the area. I have a lot of ideas for things to make for around my home and it would be cool to have people to bounce stuff off of.

Cheers!

Hello Chris from Los Angeles, welcome to the forum. You sound a bit like me, wanting to make things, doing everything the right way and getting professional results. And the systainers sure do hold their charm.

This is a good place to virtually meet people, hope to see some of your projects.

Chris if you have time get over to Anderson Ply in Culver City. They have one of the best FT selections I know of.

Plus you have 2 of the most FT knowledgable people around that work there, Don Ware and Allan Kensley.

They will help you with any questions you have about the tools.

Trust me you will have plenty of questions once you start using them.

Hope to see some of your projects.

We like to see photos of peoples projects here.
