Help finding hardwood dealer, sheetgoods near Sullivan Cty, NY or Del River

Hi all,

I'm only a hobbyist, but I'm quickly nearing my wits ends trying to find some decent hardwoods and sheetgoods in my area.  My shop is located near Monticello, NY, in Sullivan County, and I've visited a number of lumberyards in the area with little success.  Wyde, Narrowsburg, Neversink, etc.  Most deal with only construction lumber, and the exceptions have a tiny hardwood selection and not great ply.  Can anyone offer me some suggestions on where else I might try looking?

There must be some dealers or sawyers in the area, maybe across the river in PA?  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How close are you to Philly?  Hearne Hardwoods is about 45 min southeast of the city and is amazing... Might be a bit of a drive but i promise you it would be worth it.

If any of those are independent lumber yards I would think they could order just about anything you want. They must have to put orders in, for sheet goods that they stock, on a regular basis with some plywood distributer.

They have a location about an hour and a half from you.  They probably have, or could get, anything you could want.  Probably worst customer service I have ever dealt with, but their prices were good and they had free delivery. 

Orders over $200 had free delivery, but I'm about 30 min away from them so it may not be the same for you.
