So I made some wine holders the other day and had a buddy laser etch them, after putting on a coat of danish oil on them it's really hard to read them now. What do you think I can do to help make the letters pop?

If you have a steady hand you can put some stain inside the lettering, then oil over the whole thing.

It will make the words pop!

Well I tried to paint the letters then just sand off the excess on one of the holders, didn't like they way it was going so one two of them I sanded them smooth again and had them lasered again, but this time put tape on them so I can paint them without over spray. The paint didn't take to the wood which I'm assuming is because of the danish oil, so Plan C was in effect I picked up some white wood filler and filled the letter flush, this turned out pretty good. This is after two coats of poly on it.
