i cant be certain but i think there is a joint, its the photo with the small moulded bit sat on the door that make me think that

Ah, I see how you've done that.  The small round piece is moulded on the round edge but scribe cut on the 2 straight edges.  Clever.  Good way to get crisp edges on a tight corner.  I like that method.

I'll second someone else's post - how did you get that finish on pine?  I don't see any evidence of blotching and the grain doesn't look muted so it can't be toner.

I do not rub the stain, using aerial spraying. the use of polyurethane varnish, Italian.
