Here's a young carpenter/woodworker with real talent.

Yes, Thanks Brice, his work is amazing.
I love that portable band saw (Mafell) but I didn't know they made a stand for it.

what a stunning location in the 2nd video,  and a beast of a makita plane [cool]

His work is really nice. Very nice details. How old is he and is he in the Pittsburgh area?

Not a lot of guys in the USA doing that kind of work.  Really popular in Germany.

The Mafell bandsaw is not intended to be used in that fashion but it looks like a productive method.

I've tried many times to sell that kind of work with no luck.  People don't care if its a bolt or a timber frame joint.

I think these two statements go together well, Jalvis.
There are plenty of people who would like to see that level of work and detail, but the ones with the means to pay for it are few and far between, thus making it a challenge to find the work. If you noticed, the work he was doing was for himself and his family or as advertising, which speaks volumes. He has definitely had a great teacher, and was a great student.
