HK65?

We were VERY interested in purchasing the HK55/420, but got down to the dealer and realized it only cuts to a depth of 2".  This saw setup is SO perfect for cutting Truss Joists, except that narrowest cord on the material is 2-1/2".  And for cutting rafters?  Perfect again. 
Salesman told us of an impending HK65(?) that would resolve this issue.  Is it coming soon?  If so, when?  We are quite impressed by this whole tool line and would like to start building our collection with this saw.  Hope it's coming soon, we're ready to buy [thumbs up]

There is no HK 65, but Europeans countries have an HK 85. As of now, there aren't any plans to bring the HK 85 to North America. Unfortunately, you won't be able to do 2 1/2" with the HK 55.

For the capacity you are looking for you can check out the KSS-60 with 2 3/8" depth of cut on the track, or the KSS-80 which has 3 3/8" depth of cut on the cross cutting track. Expect to pay close to $2k for the KSS-80ec in North America. Hope this helps!
