I was shopping at Home Depot when I came across this special offer... Only at Home Depot does $8.47 divided by two equal $2.99.  Gotta love it.

Wait -wait ....

Looks like they have adopted Lowes pricing where the more you buy the more expensive it gets - $3 one blade $8.50 two.

I would grab two of those and take them to a manned cash register and the fun would begin.  The clerk scans them and $8.47 pops up on the display.  Wait I say, they're $2.99 each right.  Could kill 20 minutes of fun.

I'm with you, and if I was behind you in line I would be chuckling through the whole thing.
I'll have to check my store next time I am in there and maybe have some fun.

No, no, please use the customer service desk.  [wink] That will be backed up anyway.  [blink]  I'd prefer not to be stuck in line at the checkout.  [smile]

Yeah, lets not turn it into Menards (no U-scan lines), where you are stuck in line for 20 minutes while someone debates their 50 cent off coupon.

So, you're the one who got the $2.49 "kickback" on each sale?

I'm sure you could kill 20 minutes of time if you really wanted to.  But "fun"?  Apparently your idea of "fun" is a whole hell of a lot different than mine.
