Hose Adapter

I have three anti-static sizes of vacuum hose.
One, the largest, is short and came with the boom.  It connects the "33" vacuum to whichever hose you are employing on the boom.
Two, The medium size which came with the "33".
Three, the smallest which came with my sander.
My question is (I bet you were wondering if I'd ever get there) how do I attach the medium size hose to the smaller hand tools, like the sander.
Adapters?  What're they called and how to get?
Cheers!

Hello Buckaroo,

Welcome to the FOG.

I'm guessing by small, medium, & large you mean 27mm, 36mm, and 50mm? If so you can try part # 487 071 "Hose Sleeves-Reducing Sleeves" for $16.00.
Looks like it reduces 36mm to 27mm. Dealers or Festool reps correct me if I've got it wrong.

How to get it? Talk to your dealer.
Mike

PS: Now I see Eiji has a better adapter here.http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=3682.0

Mike,
Thanks for the welcome.
I have been in the woodworking world for almost 40 years and am just now building my Festool arsenal.
I've got a one man playpen, er....,workshop centered around a Minimax Cs 300 Smart and MM16 bandsaw and other large tools and a very nice DC system.  But I am really impressed with the combo sander, router (1400), "33" vacuum with boom, and the
TS 75 with a couple guides, that I do have so far.
I mainly build solid wood furniture and some historic reproduction arch. elements.
Beside the functionality and superb design and build, the dust collection is over the top.
