Hi

First time post, and new to green faction (still yellow for cordless).  I purchased an old DELTEX DX 93 last week while waiting for my Pro 5 ltd to show up (first green purchase).  Put out $4K today for CT36, RO 125, and Domino 500 (jumping into shallow to middle end of green pool).

Unpacked it all and new Cleantec bayonet hose adaptor is not happening on Deltec with squished hose outlet (insert sigh).

Have searched Festool sites and FOG and cannot find how I am supposed to get an old style squishy end adapter (or workaround) to fit to the DELTEX.

Is there a ready made Festool solution to this, a home made kludge involving cut hose (part numbers), etc?

Day 1 and deflated....

Congrats with the new toys

Don't have the deleted (deltex, darn spell checker) but from what I can see on the web and with what is done on most of the sanders the hose goes over the nossle of the sander port.

Can be a bit hard at first but it should be same as the domino you just got.

Thanx for the reply.  On the Deltex 93 the exhaust port is oval, the new bayonet hose fitting is wicked thick and stiff.

[welcome]

The old hose fitting was initially also very hard to put on the OF1010, which has the same oval fitting, but with use it softened and became much easier. I suspect that your fitting will do the same - just push harder.

Ahh, oval then that would explain it. Yeah, just squeeze it like with the 1010 router.
