Hose End fell off

I have the standard antistatic hose that came with my CT 22 and the end that connects to tools came off.  It looks like there are threads inside the hose end that are supposed to thread onto the hose but I cant seem to get it screwed on if that is how it is attached.  Do  you festool pros have any recommendations to get this fixed?
