How about A Ti18 ready for release in NA along with the PDC 18-4 release?

Yes, this is just CRAZY [eek] speculation ... but wouldn't the market react positively if it did !!

I say this because the relative demand for an 18V rattler would probably be 70% NA of the total market and there'd likely be no shortage of customers for an 18V PDC+Ti+ Centrotec set combo package!

Just harmless speculation - this isn't based on anything other than the spoken of non availability of the Ti15 in the UK and the likely 2015 release of the PDC in NA.

We've seen a lot of new stuff starting production recently ... I'm really curious about what the Festool engineers are working on now. I'm certain I'm out of luck with the Espresso-tainer though.

Let's keep this positive and constructive [wink]

A PDC 18-4 and the BHC is already on my list of purchases.  I'm just waiting for the money to burn a hole in my pocket.  As for the Ti18, it would definitely be added to my list.  As well as a 18v Sawsall.  Anything I can attach a 18v battery too.

+1 on the Ti18!

I'm of the mind that the recent, apparent drop of the Ti15 may be that Festool is preparing the launch of an improved 18V model.

Hopefully not just wishful thinking.

Cheers,

Frank

A little more speculation to add to the mix  ---- what about a cordless EHL EQ 65 planer as one of the tools currently being worked on by the new product team.

Any comment from the festool guys?

Hey Kev, Makita now have an 18v coffee perculator in the LXT line so maybe the expresso machine isnt that far away!!!!!!!!

The little planer is one tool I'd LOVE to be the foundation for a new breed of Festool mains OR battery tools!

On coffee ... I'm now thinking I should look to an Italian tool maker [wink] As far as coffee goes, Germans make great beer [big grin]

How about a German Beertainer for the beer enthusiasts and maybe a Skottish Whiskytainer for us single malt fans, heck, throw in a Tennessee Moonshinetainer for the avid jobsite distillers  [tongue]

Or you could look Swiss as well - Jura/WMF make excellent espresso machines too. Ofc. a La Pavoni eagle espresso machine in a systainer would rock  [wink]

Another I would recommend is Green Flash Brewery's Cosmic Black Lager, it's a German style Schwarzbier / Ristretto.  So you get your beer and espresso in one glass, and it's oh so good.
