How can I connect my RO 90 DX FEQ sander my Bosch GAS 25 Vacuum Dust Collector?

I have a Festool PS 300 EQ Plus jigsaw and a Rotex RO 150 E-Plus sander and want to connect these to my Bosch GAS 25 Professional Vacuum Dust Collector, here in the UK? I am retired and can't manage the cost of a new Festool dust collector. The hose for the Bosch Dust Collector has a 35 mm outside diameter connector on the business end of the hose, and the festool items above have a 27 mm outside diameter dust connection?

Can anyone please suggest what parts I would need to connect these tools to the Bosch GAS 25?

The simplest way would be to get a Festool hose. The machine end will fit your Bosch vacuum perfectly.

I also think Bosch might make a 27mm hose with a fitting that will mate to the Festool equipment...at least they do on this side of the pond. It's considerably less expensive than the Festool hose...just confirm the fitting will mate to the Festools

The cheapest & simplest way is with a tool adapter.

Axminster sell both Bobbie Bosch & Fes-toy gear, but this "universal" adapter (see link below) is a pretty good start:  note that there's also others available.  Of course there's alternative mail-order UK suppliers too (Folkestone Fixings, Toolstop, Lawson HIS et. al.).

As an aside, I've never had much trouble fitting my own Bosch & Metabo appliances to any of my older Festo hose fittings (a bit of a grunt, wriggle & push is often required), which is unfortunately a...-about-face to your own specific requirements, but just to illustrate the point that there's usually a quick, simple & inexpensive workaround available.

If time is of the essence, maybe a few strategic windings of electrical or duct tape around the male receptor may suffice as a temporary fix until a more permanent solution arrives?

I've had real success with those adapters from Axminster, for a variety of contrivances connecting non Festools and hand sanding devices to a Festool Midi - so I imagine things would work the other way around.

Mirka also do adapters (typically in larger sizes), but the Axminster ones are great for 'bodging' as they are grippy and stay put!

I had a delivery from Axminster a few days ago - given the present circumstances, the service and delivery was excellent as usual.

Thanks very much to everyone who posted a reply to my question. I have ordered the Axminster tapered adaptor, as this seems to be the best option for me.

Best Regards
Alastair

A M - is this the vac you have ?

the end on this fits all kinds of festool dust ports.
