Just picked this up yesterday:

[attachimg=#]

It's a B&D/Elu 3339, 15A VS plunger. Made in Switzerland complete with both collets, box, wrenches, edge guide & rods, manual, guide bushing adapter and a bunch of useless bits. All for a hundred bucks.... Got it home, fired it up and it runs great, no bearing whine on shutdown.

I've been looking for a replacement for my old Makita 3612 plunger for a while, thought about picking up an OF 2000 on closeout but held off. Now this comes along...

Made a trip over to the DeWalt service center in Norcross to pick up spare bearings(JIC), brushes and the DC shroud, along with some parts for other tools. Now I'm good to go no matter if they discontinue essential parts in the future.

CL rocks!

Great router, it's one of my 5 routers and it is a wonderful tool. [big grin]

I have the yellow flavor and was within inches of being the guy on the other side of Craigslist before I came to my senses. Seems I got a little overenthusiastic when I was downsizing my arsenal to go from an 800SF Shop to 120SF.

In any case, I came to my senses and this router is a great compliment to my 1400. Your comment about bearing wine has me wondering though, I will have to fire it up tomorrow and give a listen.

Congrats on the great buy!
