The other night I was working on my deck furniture refinishing project, and I was sanding down the old redwood stools, and this is not an exageration, 15" from where a freshly painted picnic table was.
I was sanding with my RS400/CT22 right next to wet paint!  Result: nothing, no dust on paint, no dust on me or in my nose, no waiting another day for paint to dry.
Great dust collection let me do more in less time.

Same experience here.  My girlfriend and I sanded and repainted our kitchen cabinets.  The previous owner had done a crappy paint job, so we sanded down the doors, drawers and face frames.  We had the doors and drawers at the shop.  I was sanding them on the MFT.  She was painting them 4 feet away set up on my cutting table.  No dust on the fresh paint!  I was using the Rotex 150 and CT 22.  The Rotex worked great on the face frames too.  I used the RTS 400 for the inside corners.  Again, the dust collection worked great.  Nothing worse than having the kitchen torn up and dust all over.  Festool helped reduce the dust and completion time.
