How many dominos for a kitchen base cabinet?

I've been using 4 dominos and six kreg pocket screws.  I prefinish the plywood so only the dominoes get glue.  Too many?  Too few?  It's 3/4 maple ply sitting on a ladder base.  I tend to stray towards over building and have little love for sheet goods and no experience with this.  Seems to be fine, but I don't have the 5, 10, or 20 years to see how it holds up.

Are you using glue as well?  I use Dominos for strength and alignment, and as long as your cabinets are being held together well and parts are where they should be (flush, etc.), I would guess that you're okay.

Which size Dominos are you using?  Are you using pocket screws instead of clamps while glue dries?

Yes I'm using the pocket screws instead of clamps.  No glue because of the prefinish panel.  It's a nice production method for a small shop.  I can completely assemble a complete kitchen in a day from a few 5 ft tall stacks of parts.

I generally don't use pre-finished plywood, so I get full use of a gluing surface at the joint of sides.  In this case, I use four dominoes and five pocket screws.  I use two dominoes and three pocket screws at each end of a stretcher, too.  When I use face frames, I generally use three dominoes and four pocket screws on each piece, spaced so they don't interfere with the dominoes and pocket screws that join the sides and bottoms.

Titebond makes a melamine glue which allows you to bond the cut edge of a melamine with the melamine-covered face.  I wonder how it would adhere to prefinished ply... Anyone know?

Don't know about the Titebond, but I just used the Roo Glue brand of Melamine glue to resurface a table covered with paint-finished plywood with laminate coated plywood.  Worked well, though technically you're supposed to scuff the finished surface for greater adhesion.
