How Quickly We Forget....

This afternoon I needed to make one quick cut on a sheet of ply to get it to size for MFT work.  Rather than move the vac and boom arm assembly for the one cut and then move it back under the MFT,  I decided to just use the TS55 without the vac.  Omigod.... this weird dust stuff was all over the place, including all over me.  I still itch.  How did we do that all those years before Festool came along? :o

Yes, I wonder too. I'm in the process of building another shed and I'm using the TS75 for cutting the sheathing and floor (both 1 1/8" plywood...got a good deal on it), but I still drag around the CT Mini to collect the dust off the saw.

What's the big deal about a little sawdust!

Eat a little dust, grow a little hair on your chest!

I've done the same thing myself, being a little lazy and more than a little slovenly.  I've gotten where I always roll my Radial Arm Saw outside when I use it, which is getting to be less and less as I become more and more Festoolized (is that a word?).
