Hi all,
I would like to know if I can adjust the distance from guiderail to my of1010 router by small increments (1/10mm)?
I asked at my local store and they sold me a small thing with a agreen knob, see pic.
How to use this?
Sorry for the silly question, but I think Festool could easily improve on their lou.. manuals, please  [scared]

Cheers,
Jacques.

If  you want to spend a little money  [big grin], I would reccomend the microfence (www.microfence.com).  If you want fine adjustability, and they have an interface to festool guidrails, that would be an option.

Thanks guys, I'll try that. If nit good enough, I'll have a look into microfence, as I'm sure it have a lot more to offer in other possibilities as well.

Cheers,
Jacques.

The fine adjuster you pictured works very well, IMO. Once you figure it out, and I am sure there is info around here, You will probable like it. Someone here has adapted it to use on their router fence as well as the guiderail. I have a MicroFence set up too, and it is very nice as well, but you can get a lot of functionality out of your present adjuster without spending more money.

Do a little searching and you can find out more about this accessory. I know John Lucas covered it quite some time ago. Our good friend has Passed away but I think his website is still up. [www.woodshopdemos.com]

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the link. I've tried both outthe fine adjuster on both the guide rail and the parallel guide), and it works fine. No need for other tools for now.

Cheers,
Jacques.
