How to glue up prefinished cabinet interior - partition/stretchers??

I’m building my first cabinets with 3/4” Maple plywood. I bought it prefinished on one side thinking it would be easier this way so I don’t have to spray the inside after assembly, is this what everybody else is doing? 

With regards to the topic, the cabinets are frameless and I’m adding a partition with several stretchers for drawer dividers but wonder how to attach them properly given the interior walls are prefinished. Do I tape off the area so I can sand off the prefinished clear coat, Kreg screws, no glue, etc.?

You can sand the finish and glue/Kreg screw if you wish. Kreg screws will be just fine in this application. If you have a Domino, you could Domino the Kreg screw.

Wood glue doesnt bond well to prefin so i dont usually bother with it. I prefer kreg screws for drawer dividers on any inside partitions, and screws + staples from the outside wherever possible.

Your drawer glides should be screwed to box sides and partitions, so the dividers (dust frames) are just there to close the gap and dont need excessive strength. So sanding off for glue is overkill in my opinion.

Sorry Michael, I should proof read——the should be "then".....

I do the same as you, locate the screw next to the Domino. I have had occasion where I’ve had to go through the Domino, not often but it works.

PL premium a urethane glue in caulking tubes will adhere to melamine and pre-finished ply.
Do a glue test but let  it set 24 hours to get a feeling for how well it holds. When I tested it it pulled the board apart when I broke the two pieces apart. Don't use too much as it can get messy.

As has been already said a lot of people don't bother gluing.

If you can get this on your side of the border I haven't found anything better. Kleiberit Super Glue #308. I've also tried the Titebond stuff and its complete crap in comparison.

It depends on time and your set-up, but I would recommend confirmat fasteners, if not, domino and kreg screws should work great.
