Everyone,
Of course, we want all members to be active in the forum and post. Well, recently, I have received a few messages from new members writing to say that they need some help posting because they are not sure exactly how to do it.
As I was writing a response to one member on how to post, I decided it would be good to post this for public access.
Here are the steps involved in making a post to the forum. It's easy!
1. Go to the home page of the forum.
2. Click on any board name. For example, click on "All Tools & Accessories." This brings you to the listing of topics for that board.
3. Near the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you will see a row of buttons. Click the one that says "New Topic" (circled in red in the image below):
[attachthumb=1]
This brings you to the "Start New Topic" screen, where you can type a post.
4. From the "Start New Topic" screen, you'll see various formatting options. You can use these if you want, or just type your post.
5. When you're done typing, click the "Post" button, which is located near the bottom of the "Start New Topic" screen (circled in red in the image below):
[attachthumb=2]
That's pretty much it!
So dive in and post.
* Remember: you can edit your forum posts up to 10 days after the post appears.
