How would you use DF500 to join these (photo)? The angel is 10 degrees.

Set the fence to mill the mortises on the stile and use the intersecting lines technique to mill the angled mortises on the rail.

Thanks, but I'm still not sure how to use/setup the DF500 to get the holes aligned on the two pieces.

It might be helpful to put some numbers to this. The relative proportions are there, but overall size of the parts is lacking.
A hint at the volume might matter too. If you are only doing one, it may not be worth building a jig, but for more than a few, it can really help.
For a single (or opposing pair) it can be as easy as clamping a third piece alongside of the thin one, clamping it in place, and referencing the base of the Domino against that "extra" piece. This will put the slot 10mm above that spot, which is why I asked about size. Then just place that thinner part on the benchtop, with the mating surface facing the Domino, and cut the other slot.
At this point, you should be able to assemble the pieces, with a tenon in place, and the piece will fit right next to the one that is still clamped to the bigger one.

Chuck - Sorry I'm a bit obtuse, but what does the notation that looks like "CL" mean?

Also, I'm curious to know the best way to achieve the spacing between the two dominos?

Thanks!
The CL is traditionally a designation for center line. Spacing between can be done my moving the fence, or placing a spacer under the base, depending upon how you referenced to first one.

Thanks @Crazyraceguy

So I went to give it a go. I'm making a lounge chair with legs similar to Mogens. 80x40mm Dominos in the leg. The "R" on both pieces are my reference surface or line. Did the leg first and placed the center of the mortises at 15mm and 30mm from the edge. I used the leg and clamped it down to the other piece to use as a reference stop. Did the first mortise after setting the fence to 15mm and did a dry fit.

It is 5mm short - as though it was set to 10mm. Double-checked the fence and it's set to 15mm. I must be doing something wrong, but I'm a bit flabbergasted at the moment as to what. What am I missing?

The workpieces are 50mm wide and 25mm thick in cherry.

Thanks!

Oh, man.

I've been sitting here watching Peter Sellers videos while stewing over this Domino thing and I think it just occurred to me. For the legs, I used the fence as the reference but for the body piece, I used the base. Doh.

So, is the correct way to correct this is to move the piece that I'm lining up the base on (in this case) by 5mm to get the 15mm offset?
