I gotta give a big thanks to INCRA too.

There's 2 tool companies that really stand out in the crowd to me. That's Festool and Incra. Incra has done me a big one. Check out www.incra.com and go to their gallery. They have been kind enough to display numerous pieces I've made. Perry is a great guy over there too. Thanks Perry. The best part is, when you put the 2 tools to use on one project, you have one bad ass combination. They compliment each other in so many ways and allow quality work untouchable by any other tool combo. IMNSHO. ;D Alright I'll shut up now. :-X

Bill,
I absolutely second your statement. Incra not only makes a very quality product but they are constantly coming up with new products. Those are some beautiful projects you have displayed in the gallery.

my only gripe about Incra is that they dont have a full line of metric products. Spacecraft have been lost because of metric and imperial conversion mistakes, and let's just say that the guy doing projects in my shop is no NASA engineer...

I agree!  Several times here in the forum I have said that, after Festool, Incra tools are most prominent in my shop.  My router setup, which I run hard, is an Incra, and I've got several of Incra's measuring and marking tools.  I also got one of their drill-press tables.  I was going to build my own drill press table, but found that the ones Incra puts together just works great.

I also agree with this.  When I got my first Incra router-table set up (a Twin Linear fence) I could not quite get it to work for jointing, as advertised.  Perry spent a long time on the phone walking me through the process.  At one point along the way, I discovered a small dent in the frame of the fence and Perry arranged for me to get a replacement immediately.  He didn't even ask me to send the old one back (I still have it in my shop actually, because I keep thinking I might be able to use it for something).

Definitely true, and almost every project I do involves this combination.  Others here have combined the two product lines evem more, by putting Incra tracks together with the MFT and other ideas along those lines.  I have not done that yet, but might someday.

Are you guys aware that Rich, owner of Woodpeckers, has posted a question in the "router lift" topic?

He was wondering if there would be a demand for a lift for the OF 2200.

Tom.

One of the handiest tools I've purchased in the last 15 or so years is an Incra Gauge.
