Since brent B was the only person to vote in all categories, he should win something.

As Michael said, the contests are still on.  But they are an endangered species at the moment, due to lack of interest (or something).  Yes, the deadlines have been extended through the summer, to help bring more people into this and allow new members to post something that is eligible to win.

I removed the "sticky" status of the contests, so they are no longer listed at the top of the topic list.  However, if people start posting entries, they will jump back to the top again!

Awwww gee, thanks Mirko, the only thing I've won here lately is the fathers day prize and I'm a shoe in for that. 
I'd like to reiterate there is $1200.00 worth of Festool goodness on the chopping block, brought to us by the diligence and creativity of Matthew, (not to mention this entire forum, but that's another post).  So come on people, let's fire it up.  If it will help I'll withdraw my nominations, (except for Mirko, of course  :-*) )
Matthew, I'm wondering if a leader board would help at all, perhaps a bit more structure to see where the standings are.
By the way, I have the DS 400 and it's worth fighting for.  Like all my Festool tools it's puts everything else into an early retirement.

Thanks for the positive statements!

Regarding a "leader board": I created a separate discussion for each topic contest.  In each of those discussions, I plan to have a post at the top showing who's in the lead.  At the moment, we don't really have enough votes to call it a leader board!

If they sink into the general FOG the contest really will fail. I think at least an introductory link to the contests should be sticky.
