I put my MFT 3 togeteher and have an extra part!!

Well it's not quite like that but I wanted to get someone to read the post.  See the image for the part that is "extra".  I say that because I cannot figure out what it might be used for.  I have figured out that it will fit into the V groove in the MFT 3 but that's all.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the FOG.

That part is the holder for the fence. It goes on the left end of the fence and the V groove fits the rail on the left side of the table. It is used to give extra support to the fence.

Thanks.  That also answers my other question as to why the fence was so loose.
