I've often thought how nice it would be if there was a high quality hinge made that would fit into 2 corresponding domino mortises. I imagine it being used on a dovetailed mahogany humidor that is lined with Spanish cedar and stocked with a full compliment of premium stogies! There would probably be a glass of good scotch on the rocks nearby.

Not a smoker or drinker but I have also imagined this as well.  It would be nice if a SOSS type hinge was available for Domino mortises.
