I realize that the topic is sort of strange.  I am not making the request for any sort of marketing or research - I promise.  I learned last year that this forum and the spirit within can make a difference in times of difficulty and I want to harvest that strength and support for someone who all who have been to Indy will know.

I do not want this out on the internet for privacy concerns so I will be locking this thread immediately to eliminate discussion and speculation.

I have responded to everyone who has responded but it was pointed out to me that I will need to post again to keep this in view. And get more participants.

I realize that my post has raised some eyebrows and perhaps has sent some sort of bad signal.  That was not my intent.  I  want to do something for a really great person but want to respect their internet privacy.  Every one who has replied is in favor.

And it is not about anything financial.  It is about being a human and just paying it forward.
