Improving CMS TS Dust/Chip Collection?

I've been meaning to explore the idea of adding something permanent to the underside of the CMS TS module (to take the place of the blue painter's tape I quickly and crudely affix around the blade shroud when I remember to do so) that would tackle the dust that the dust extractor doesn't capture. The problem is that the blade isn't fully enclosed (like, say, the way the blade on the new cordless table saw is fully enclosed) but I'm betting that adding a supplementary shroud of some sort (maybe held in place with neodymium magnets?) that does a better job of hermetically sealing off the blade to the underside of the table might be a worthwhile hack. While I don't necessarily mind the existing level of un-captured dust, its a problem when I'm cutting PVC (trim or pipe, etc.) since the dust collection is terrible when it comes to those lightweight and static-clingy chips.

So, before I dedicate any time to this...I'm aware of the efforts some Erika owners have made to improve their machines' dust collection, I'm just wondering if any CMS TS owners have ever taken similar steps to improve on the CMS TS design. Maybe it can't be improved upon - I'm not sure.

And, yes, I always have the rectangular opening in the shroud covered. I'm talking about all the other areas where dust and chips can (and do) escape.
