Dear community,

I have made on thread on FOG, and I got the answers I needed. This is a fantastic place :)

Well, the case this time is that I bought a CMS module from a guy who had owned it for years without opening the box.
I am not new to Festool tools, but I am slowly putting together a CMS-set up, to be able to check out the system properly.

Problem is; It was the CMS AP/AT, buildt for the older AP 85 saw. I have ts 55, corded and on batteries, and also an HK85.
Now, I know that the FOG admin do not like ideas around this, because obviously the CMS AP/AT is buildt for a saw that I do not have. In that case, maybe PM is the best way to answer.

But I sure would apreciate a whole lot (!) if anyone knows anything about using this module for newer saws.
I am not afraid to cut in the module if needed. I really just need input/tips if anyone has any.

Thank you so much on beforehand!

Have a nice day

My very best,
Lars  ;)

Hi Lars,

I think I live quite nearby you if I’m not wrong.
I could bring my brackets for the TS 75 and TS 55R to you one afternoon to see if any of these might be usable. And then we could post our findings here later.

So really this is "Help me mod this module to fit HK85". I doubt the endresult will be any different.

But I'm still kinda surprised Festool never released an official module for it. Especially since they had one for the AP85.

Guess so Coen.

Then, I think Lars just put it up for sale locally just a half hour ago.
I had a look at the photos, and the mounting holes are much wider apart in the width of the saw.
The brackets must be much much wider on this module.

I’m not sure, but a TS75’s base could be very close to a HK85. That would probably be easier to adapt to. Since I haven’t a HK85, this is a guess judging by photos of it.
I’d like one though..
