Hi FOG'ers I'm anxiously awaiting my 2010 Income Tax Refund to splurge on more Festool purchases!!!  It's been a long 2 weeks and the wait is almost over.  According to the IRS I should get mine by next Tuesday, March 8th.

I've already spent some of it as I have a order pending/hold and due payment with Uncle Bob.

Sorry, I was too excited and forgot to take into account all other situations.  One year I got hit extremely hard and had to pay $17K [mad]

Yup. at the very least an RO 90 and some of the systainers for non-festool tool storage on my list.

Then it's just a matter of how many tools I can have delivered without having the spousal unit raise her eyebrows...  [big grin]

I use my snow plow money dont get much back on taxes usually break even.  It was a good winter so got some new toys.

The IRS is only offering refunds on Fridays.  You might be lucky and get it this Friday.  Good luck!

We get it ALL back as a tax credit. But is is going to pay this off. All 32 panels, thats 7kW of power from the sun, between 28 and 42kWh a day. So no Festool tools this year from the tax refund :(

Already used the tax refund to put back the $4k or so that I've spent on Festool gear since September. My bonus check gets direct-deposited tomorrow, and it's larger than expected, so some of that will be spent on more toys as the year goes on- CMS, Carvex, and perhaps the UG stand come to mind.

And another line for "what's an income tax refund?" I think I got one once or twice but it's been so long I can't recall...  [sad]

Bill

Used mine for a recon dts400, 3.0 c12 set, powermatic 14" bandsaw, metal detector, and to stock my garage full of exotic lumber! And I had to pay off the wife with a couple of purses and tickets down to the sates.

Okay, my purchases from the Refund are the Parallel Guide Set, Domino, and Work Center.  Plus there were a few other do dads in there and I've now spent upwards of $2K.  Now that I've spent this much I have to delay my plans on getting the RO 90 and hopefully I'll be able to buy one within the next 2 months.

Oh the slippery slope and at the least my account balance is low but my home looks way better although its equity is nil!!!!!!

What refund?

Exactly. And I plan it that way. I don't prefer to loan the IRS my money for zero interest, so we always plan for owing a little bit. And money goes into savings that does pay interest on a regular basis. That said, for those who do have a refund coming for whatever reason...adding to their Festool collection is certainly a worthy cause!  ;D
