INCRA 1000SE miter gauge

Hey gang, found one of these puppies like new for $80. I've done a little research and the main gripes seem to be regarding the "trueness" of the head and the fine tuning that's required.
Anybody have any experience with this? I'm debating between using this with my table saw or getting a kreg track and stop kit to use with my Kapex.
(My shop is still under construction).

I have the 1000HD and I love it.  Well worth the little time it takes to get it dialed in.
