Individual items on ebay

I've noticed some bare machines on ebay, a jigsaw PDC 18/4 and a drywall gun. The same sellers are selling batteries, chargers and systainers all individually. Obviously they are buying the set and breaking them up.

How does this sit with Festool?
What are the warranty implications?

Why would Festool have any concern with what private owners do with their own tools?  Warranty is keyed to serial number/man date - has nothing to do with chain of ownership.
